CAPTIVES OF THE ALMIGHTY(sequel of the captive's diary)
CONTINUATION.. Episode 22(unedited)

When the baby's cry heightened in Uchenna's arms, Shalom came out from the bathroom and collected the baby from him then he exhaled in relief.
"Wheez..." he exhaled immediately she clothed the baby from him, "Splendour, you're mean!" he added, looking at Shalom as she sat down on the bed and began to breastfeed the baby, still tying her towel and he swallowed his saliva twice then sat down close to her strategically.
"Splendid my love.. So.. this is how you disturb my wife everytime with your crying.. crying.." he was touching and playing with the baby's hand but his eyes were hungrily set on Shalom's breasts, one of which the baby had latched onto by forming a tight seal with her mouth around the ni**le and ar**la and he salivating.
"Splendid Splendid.. you're enjoying alone, call daddy to join you nau..daddy is hungry, he has not sucked since.." Uchenna said, like a child just to pull Shalom's legs to make her laugh and she stole a funny look at him, holding her breathe to avoid laughing with him.
"My baby, should I come and suck breast with you?" he asked baby Splendour whose eyes were already closing gradually in a quiet sleep, shifting closer to Shalom, his head going down her chest.
"What is it now? You're putting your head in my mouth.." Shalom spoke up, sensing his tricks.
"Sorry, I am talking to my Splendid." he replied, almost resting his head on her second breast.
"Shift from my breast.. you are talking to which baby? The baby that's already sleeping.." she said, almost laughing at him.
"Yes.. she just told me now to come and take over from where she stopped.." he replied, feigning seriousness and taking his mouth close to the second breast.
"What are you doing? You will wake my baby from sleep o.." she asked, laughing and pushing his head away from herself.
"But my baby said I should take over, allow me to suck my own now.." Uchenna said and without waiting for her permission, he latched his mouth onto the already lactating breast dripping milk before him and sucked out the milk before she pushed him away.
"Go away from here.." she pushed him away, grinning and feigning a frown at the same time.
"Jeez.. this thing tastes good." he exclaimed.
"Drop Splendour let me suck my own nau.." he told her, looking serious.
"Suck what?" she asked, bad eyeing him then continued.
"I'm not happy with you o, I am angry with you and you know it." she told him.
"Ehn.. even me, I am not happy with you, I am just trying to be happy with you now.. so, drop Splendour let's make ourselves happy.." he told her and she raised her eyebrows in displeasure.
"Is that what you have to say?" she asked him, "After shouting at me this morning? What did I do, did I do anything wrong to have asked.." she was still talking and he cut in, calmly.
"The question is not what did you do? The question rather is, what did you not do?" he told her and she looked at him in amazement.
"Yes, that's where the problem is, what did you not do?" he asked her and she swallowed hard.
"What did I not do, sir?" she asked him.
"Good question," he said, then continued. "You and I had an agreement. You told me to buy you Suya as my own part of the deal and I fulfilled my own part but you didn't fulfil yours.. You ate my Suya (grilled meat) then left me here and went to the sitting room and was there watching television and laughing while I was here dying.." he was explaining to her amazement.
"But you said you were tired and that your body was paining you. I was even here with you, talking with you and you turned your face the other way and started sleeping, which I thought it wise to allow you to sleep since it was obvious that you needed rest." she explained herself.
"Which sleep? Which rest?" he asked her, arguably.
"I wasn't sleeping, I was waiting for you to finish up with what you were eating and I even told to eat fast and come help me sleep that I was tired; what were you thinking when I said you should come and make me sleep?" he asked her and she sat down there staring at him in a confused manner.
"You know I always need you when I am tired, you know it, I don't even need to tell you that your husband who has been away on a week long stressful program needed you.
No, they are things you shouldn't be told and even if I had slept off as claimed, what stopped you from waking me up?" he asked, rhetorically and she didn't even know what to tell him, so she kept quiet and was looking at him.
"I didn't know you weren't sleeping, I only wanted to.." she wanted to explain herself but paused knowing that no amount of explanation would be enough to convince him that she didn't deliberately deny him her body.
"Fine, I am sorry about what happened but was that why you shouted at me in the morning as if I was one little child?" she asked him.
"Huh.. Did I really shout at you?" he asked, smiling naughtily, thinking of what to tell her.
"How could I? How could I have shouted at my sweet mummy that is going to be breastfeeding me and my Splendid?" he said, drawing close to cuddle her to himself but she shrugged.
"Leave me alone, is that all you have to say for shouting at me?" she asked, expecting an apology from him.
"Sorry nau.." he said, then continued. "Favorite, you won't understand the kind of stress I went through passed week and maybe I was just pouring out my frustrations on you and didn't see it as shouting at you.
You have no idea how I was that yesterday while you were eating that thing, I was just controlling myself to wait for you to come and that was why I turned my face the other way.
It's not been easy with me, it has not been easy staying without you for almost two months and being faced with the temptations that comes with it. That yesterday, something happened at the office and the picture got registered in my mind, I was trying hard to get my mind off it.
While I waiting for Kelvin to go get the stuffs for you, a lady came to the office to make a complaint and she was just showing me her full breasts, right before me and I was alone with her in the office, just the two of us.." Shalom turned and looked at him with a burning hostility in her eyes as if the lady was there while he continued.
"I thought maybe she didn't know that her breasts were open and that she wasn't doing it intentionally and I removed my eyes the first time but it became very obvious that she actually came for me when I noticed her seductive body language and God really helped me to walk her out because I was really tired in my body and I didn't even have strength for too much talks and that was why I wasn't talking much while you were talking to me last night. I just needed you so I can sleep." he explained and she was very quiet, as if someone poured her cold water after hearing that a lady tried seducing her husband whom she's very jealous over.
"You are the only one in whose arms I can run back to and find solace and coming back home last night after agreeing with you over the phone that you will minister to me only to meet with disappointment, I couldn't help but pour out my frustrations on you when you were busy asking me what I wanted to eat as if food was my number one need.
I can always get food from anywhere and eat or even take tea or anything at all and I will be fine but I have only one woman I am permitted to get emotional satisfaction from which is you." he told her and she blinked her eyes repeatedly as those words touched her differently.
"But.. all the same, I am sorry if I shouted at you." he said then moved back, climbed the bed, covered his legs with the duvet as he lay down on his back to the bed with his eyes closed, leaving her emotionally softened so much that for the next few minutes, she was just sitting down there quietly.
She turned and looked at him where he was lying on the bed with his eyes closed, her eyes ladened with strong desire as his words aroused her sensually.
She got up from the bed with her baby in her arms which she looked around, contemplating whether to lay her on the couch or somewhere there on the bed and finally, she opted for the later.
"Please, shift a little bit let me lay Somto there." she requested, just to get him to open his eyes and when he opened his passion filled eyes and their eyes met and their bodies reacted erotically in unison while he shifted for her to lay down the baby at the other end of the bed, hoping in his heart that she would come to him when she's done putting the baby to bed and his guess was right because the next thing he felt on his chest was Shalom's hand, perusing the hair on his chest.
"I'm sorry about what happened, it wasn't intentional.." She said, lying down very close to him and placed her head on his chest gently, tossing her towel aside.
" No problems.." he replied, holding her.
"I've missed you so much." he added, combing his hands into her hair which was tucked into a black hair net.
"I missed you too." she said, planting a kiss on his lips gently which he responded immediately, kissing her passionately with his eyes closed as one who has been hungrily waiting for that moment.
"You want to suck breast, right?" she paused and asked him, smiling when she noticed a dripping breast milk and he nodded his head like a kid.
"Come and suck small.." she told him, smiling and from sucking of breast, Uchenna entered the holies of holies and his bodily fire was calmed....
