Production Process of Baby and Children’s Clothing:

1. Product Design and Development
Our design team develops new styles according to market trends and customer requirements. We also provide customized OEM/ODM production based on customers’ designs, samples, or pictures.

2. Fabric Selection and Preparation
We select high-quality fabrics, such as 100% cotton, combed cotton, cotton with elastane, and other materials. We conduct inspections to ensure the softness, comfort, and safety of the fabrics.

3. Fabric Cutting
The fabric is cut according to the confirmed patterns and measurements to ensure that every piece has the same size and shape.

4. Sewing and Garment Production
The cut fabric pieces are sent to the sewing process, where our skilled workers assemble each garment with strict attention to details and quality.

5. Printing and Embroidery (If Required)
We provide customized printing and embroidery services. Before mass production, we confirm colors, printing quality, washing fastness, and other important details.

6. Quality Control
Each product goes through quality inspection, including checking stitching, measurements, appearance, cleanliness, safety, and final workmanship.

7. Ironing, Packaging and Shipping
After the final inspection, the garments are ironed, packed, and prepared for international shipment.

Printing Test Before Mass Production

Before starting bulk production, we recommend:

✅ Making a printing sample to confirm the colors
✅ Testing color fastness to washing
✅ Testing color fastness to rubbing
✅ Testing fabric shrinkage rate
✅ Confirming that the hand feel meets the requirements

For baby clothing, special attention should be paid to:

Whether the materials are environmentally friendly and safe
Whether there is any irritating smell
Whether the products meet the certification standards required by customers

4. Printing Production Process

Control the fabric tension during printing to avoid fabric deformation.
Keep the printing machine and work area clean to prevent color contamination.
Control the drying temperature and time to avoid color changes.
During bulk production, conduct regular inspections to prevent color differences between batches.

1. Inspection Before Pressing
Check whether the garment has stains, loose threads, damages, or defects.
Confirm that the size, style, and color are correct.
Check the fabric composition and set the appropriate ironing temperature (different fabrics such as cotton, polyester, and knitted fabrics require different temperatures).
2. Pressing Sequence (For Baby and Children’s Garments)

The general order is:

Collar

Shape the collar properly and make it flat.
Avoid stretching or deforming the collar.

Shoulders

Press the shoulder seams flat.
Keep both sides symmetrical.

Sleeves

Press the cuffs first.
Then press the sleeve body.
Avoid creating unwanted creases.

Front and Back Panels

Press from top to bottom.
Remove wrinkles from the chest and body areas.
Maintain the natural shape of the garment.

Bottom Hem

Press the hem fold neatly.
Check that the stitching is smooth and even.
3. Temperature Control (Reference)
100% Cotton: Around 150–180°C, steam can be used.
Combed Cotton / Cotton Knitted Fabric: 120–160°C, avoid stretching.
Fabric with Spandex (Elastane): 120–150°C, prevent damage to elasticity.
Synthetic Fabrics: Require lower temperatures.

How do we do screen printing with plastisol ink on our garments? What issues should we pay attention to?
The main steps are:
1. Prepare the printing pattern and make the screen plate.
2. Choose the suitable plastisol ink according to the fabric material and color.
3. Adjust the printing pressure, ink thickness, and printing position.
4. After printing, the garment needs to be cured at the correct temperature and time to ensure good adhesion and durability.
Important points to pay attention to:
• Make sure the fabric surface is clean before printing.
• Control the thickness of the ink layer to avoid cracking or peeling.
• The curing temperature and time must be correct; insufficient curing may cause poor washing resistance.
• Test the print quality before mass production.
• Different fabrics may require different inks and printing processes.

How is embroidery done on clothing?

The embroidery process on clothing is usually completed by a computerized embroidery machine. First, the embroidery design (such as a logo, pattern, or text) is converted into a digital embroidery file. The embroidery technician then sets the stitch type, stitch density, colors, and sewing path according to the fabric and design requirements.

During production, the garment is fixed on an embroidery frame, and the computerized embroidery machine automatically controls the needle movement and thread changes to complete the embroidery pattern.

After embroidery is finished, workers trim the excess threads, remove the backing material, check the quality, and make sure there are no loose threads or defects before the products enter the next production process.

For baby clothing, we pay special attention to embroidery quality. We use soft embroidery threads, control the embroidery thickness, and add protective backing when necessary to ensure the products are comfortable and safe for babies.
