Care Guide for Cashmere & Wool (Save for Future Reference)

Cleaning Method:
Dry clean or hand wash gently. Machine washing is not allowed (except for wool that has been treated for shrink resistance).

Washing Frequency & Water Temperature:
Avoid frequent washing. High temperatures can cause shrinkage. Use water below 30°C.

Detergent: Use a detergent specially formulated for cashmere and wool. Do not use alkaline products like laundry powder or soap.

Post-Wash Handling: Gently pat or press to remove excess water. Do not rub or twist the garment forcefully.
Drying: Do not hang to dry on a hanger. Lay flat on a drying mesh to maintain shape.

Pilling Note: Mild pilling on knitwear is normal. Avoid contact with rough surfaces when wearing to reduce friction.

Wool vs. Cashmere: Key Differences (Save for Future Reference)

Warmth: Cashmere > Wool
With the same coverage, cashmere traps more still air between fibers, providing 8 times the warmth of wool while being only 1/5 the weight. It is a premium choice for winter wear, though more delicate.

Moisture Absorption: Cashmere > Wool
Cashmere dyes vibrantly and resists fading. It also has superior breathability and the highest water absorption of any textile fiber (moisture regain rate >15%). A cashmere shirt will saturate in seconds when submerged, while wool takes over 30 seconds.

Shrink Resistance: Cashmere > Wool
Cashmere garments show almost no shrinkage after washing, whereas wool garments are prone to shrinkage.

Durability: Cashmere < Wool
Wool retains its shape and elasticity longer with frequent use and washing. Cashmere is more susceptible to deformation and pilling.
