What does it take to renovate a deck by the sea? 🌊

At this Costa Rica property, ageing timber and stone tiles had left the garden looking dated and disconnected.

Coastal humidity, salt and frequent wet conditions can accelerate moisture absorption, staining and surface wear, so the replacement needed to do more than look good.

The old surfaces were replaced with Oakio Proshield WPC decking. Its fully capped surface helps limit these issues, while the Westminster finish brings the warmth of wood back into the space.

Now, the garden and pergola feel like one connected outdoor area.
