Unique upcycled clothing Elise Rolot is a Belgian fashion designer based in Berlin.

She started her upcycled clothing brand in 2014 and developed her work based on the concept of upcycling which means giving a new value to by-products, wastes or unwanted materials. Her collections are made from unique pieces and limited editions in which duvet covers become dresses, curtains turn into jackets, tablecloths into bags! Her designs are made of simple shapes that are easy and conforta

ble to wear and she brings an original twist to each piece through the choice and mix of the materials. The association of different textures, colours and patterns gives to each garment its own individual character.

✊ We need a fashion revolution ✊

For Fashion Revolution Week this year I decided to show you behind the scenes of my upcycling fashion brand - offering a (tiny) glimpse into the making!

This week is a moment to reflect on how our clothes are made and the impact it can have on people and the planet. We need and want a more transparent fashion industry, one that respect the people who make our clothes and the world we live in.

Awareness is the first step towards change.

💙 NEW ARRIVAL 💙

This set is made from beautiful deep-blue cotton curtains that came to me already marked by the sun, with a few bleached spots here and there ☀️
So I decided to lean into it and create my own bleached patterns all over them ✨

You might expect the dark blue colour to turn light blue but bleaching is always a surprise and this time it revealed a warm orangey tone that, in my opinion, matches perfectly with the blue 💙🧡
