Together, we decided to join forces and perform as a CREATIVE DUO: MARTIN de SIQUEIRA. // WHO IS MdeuxS? MdeuxS are Gaelle Martin and Kathy de Siqueira, two fashion designers who met in 2010 at Saint Laurent's design studio and joined forces in 2017 as a creative duo between Paris and Berlin. Gaelle comes from Brittany. After completing her visual communication studies at the Beaux Arts in Rennes,
she continued her education in fashion design at the Parisian Ecole Nationales Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. She has been trained in the high technique of draping, taught by professors of the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne - the Paris Haute Couture College. She gathered first experiences in the movie industry on costume designer Carine Sarfati's side, and worked with fashion designer Gaspard Yurkievich before arriving at Yves Saint Laurent's Woman RTW studio. Kathy has German-Brazilian roots and grew up in Germany before moving to Paris in early 2005. She studied draping and pattern making, fashion and textile design, photography at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs. In the ateliers of the Opera Bastille and Caraco Canezou, a costume and haute couture studio with assignments for Dior, Givenchy and Stephane Rolland, she learned finest tailoring skills. At Louis Vuitton, Kathy discovered her passion for textile and embroidery design and developed it further at the Saint Laurent design studio. Gaelle and Kathy both worked at Saint Laurent under the artistic direction of Stefano Pilati and Hedi Slimane - two opposing creative extremes. They further developed their working methods and refined the sense of the best quality under the strictest design and merchandising demands. Gaelle specialised in Women RTW, Kathy in embroidery, fabric manipulation and millinery. They worked together on various embroidery projects. In 2017 they founded MdeuxS consulting agency to help both young and established companies to develop their products, collection plans and visual marketing in unity with their personal brand identity through the work methodology and approach used in Parisian luxury fashion houses.
