TEXTILE NARRATIVES #2
What if colour could tell a story?

At , textiles begin long before a garment is made. From weaving to natural dyeing techniques using ingredients such as marigolds, onions and pomegranates, every step is part of a larger textile journey.
For this edition of Textile Narratives, we look beyond the finished product and explore the knowledge, techniques and people behind the fabric.

What textile tradition from your own culture deserves more attention today?

TEXTILE NARRATIVES #01

Some stories travel far.
From the Kullu Valley in the Indian Himalayas to Amsterdam, connects traditional textile knowledge with contemporary design.
Working alongside artisan women who spin, dye, knit and weave by hand, the brand helps preserve techniques that have been passed down through generations.

For the first edition of Textile Narratives, we spotlight a story of craftsmanship, cultural heritage and the people behind the process.
Because textiles are never just textiles.
They carry knowledge, memory and human connection.

Bienvenue à Cannes ! 🇫🇷 The film festival is in full swing and we are excited to announce a joint collaboration to mark the event. Initiated by Style & the Gang, marine conservationist Tharaka Sriram, in her role as programmer and curator for film festivals, presents an exclusive coat with beautiful embroideries from the slow fashion brand ÏMAIMA. We are thrilled to see our dear Tharaka, who is also a vocal for female rights and discrimination, in such a glamorous setting.

ÏMAIMA, founded by Bahhareh Karimi, blends elements of Berlin's art and culture scene with traditional Indian craftsmanship in its designs. Artistic embroidery is a key stylistic feature. As a conscious slow fashion brand, transparency is very important to ÏMAIMA. The artisans behind each piece are not anonymous, but are highlighted as key contributors. >> Stay tuned, we'll be showing more ÏMAIMA outfits soon!

Thank you so much for joining forces with us! 🙏

Fashion Trend Analysis:
PMFW 2026 frames modest fashion as a space of refinement: richly adorned fabrics, flowing silhouettes and deliberate volume define the season.
What emerges is a distinctly feminine yet self-assured aesthetic — shaped by cultural references and elevated through construction, detail and proportion.
Rather than redefining coverage, the collections push it further: towards a more considered, design-driven expression of modest fashion.
