It is not fun to write a text like this, but it is part of the process:
After careful consideration, we have decided to end the project MAGE. 😔
There are many reasons for this decision - as you know, MAGE started with the idea of creating a product that would really make life easier for many women. The founding team came from various backgrounds with each of us pursuing a career in different fields. After trying to make this 'fly' during and alongside our studies, we have come to the decision that as a team we can no longer put in the effort required to bring the product to market.
We are sad that this means that all the people who have contacted us - who are in need of a practical, pain-relieving solution - will now have to wait for someone else to develop it.
We are proud though that we have raised awareness to a topic very dear to us - among our friends, in the start-up community, in this network.
We are grateful to all of you who have supported us on this incredible journey: the family and friends who supported the idea in the very early stages, the coaches and network we met as we refined the vision, the testers who were patient with us - testing the prototypes over several months and answering all the questions we had.
Thank you for believing in the idea - we still believe that a practical solution to period pain is long overdue: so keep on breaking taboos! 🙊💪
