As a Japanese native living overseas, I have had the desire to share the beauty and the richness of my culture. This desire started Kimono Komono (meaning 'small things' in Japanese) to share the rich Japanese culture and craftsmanship. As the name suggests, the focus of the store is authentic vintage kimonos, accessories made with kimono silk and fine Japanese ceramics, suitable for the home and excellent as gifts.

Packing for Møllestiens Christmas Market. Looking forward to soak in the Christmas atmosphere and energy. If you are looking for some presents that are authentic and from small local businesses, do stop by. The best part of this market is that the stand fee collected to run the market will be donated for a good cause. We start at 10am and rumor says that there will be some music around 3pm. Items in photo are authentic Japanese vintage kimonos in all the colors that you can imagine and dream of😍. Kimono pouches that are oh la la decorative.

Hello peeps. I have been away due to my studies, venturing into a new field…But this Saturday I will have my little shop out at the Møllestien Christmas market in Århus. If Black Friday is too boring, do stop by for some local small business inspiration❤️🙏. It starts at 10pm and I think there is some music at 3, if I remember correctly😅.

Guess what these are? I am a bit of a texture freak and had to share this as these are so far the most beautiful noodles I have set my eyes on. They are a light summer noodle from Japan that are wonderful eaten cold with some noodle broth yum. I hope to have some Japanese food experience 🥢🍱🍙🍤. Japanese food is not just sushi but many other tasty dishes! @ Aarhus, Denmark
