EDIT 3: FAIR SQUARE - QUIET HORIZON

This EDIT acoustic wall panel combines sky-like colours of smooth two-tone polyester fabrics, creating a soft, layered surface with excellent sound-dampening qualities. It’s like bringing a little piece of heaven indoors.

The panel's simple click-in-place design allows for effortless installation, transforming your room into a serene soundscape. Designed for interiors where tone, texture, and tranquillity are key, the panel can be repeated horizontally or stacked vertically to fit your vision.

A SOFT BOUNDARY

In the heart of Aarhus, has transformed a 1960s concrete structure into their very own modern office.

Here, curtains are used throughout the space as soft architectural tools. Light, semi-transparent fabrics divide the open space office into smaller zones, while heavier curtains improve acoustics and create more enclosed settings where needed.

“It creates a kind of boundary, but you can still see silhouettes through it. It’s not rejecting in that way,” Anne Katrine Arrildt, partner at E+N, explains.

LOVE THE PROCESS

Tones, textures, and then tones again. Designing new, unique pieces and collections take a lot of time, thought, and not least trial and error.

Luckily, we don’t just enjoy the process. We love it ❤️Exploring new techniques, production methods, materials… every part of it.

Here’s a small glimpse of what happened behind the scenes when our Brand Manager curated EDIT - Kurage’s newest acoustic wall panel collection.

Do you enjoy the process or are you more of a goal-ticking kind of person? Let us know in the comments below.

STYLING THE SHOOT

You know the saying: Behind every great photoshoot is a woman… or something like that. In our case, it’s definitely true.

For our recent EDIT shoot, we teamed up with amazing stylist , who worked her magic to make our new acoustic wall panels shine in exactly the right light.

“I wanted the images to spark ideas. As a stylist myself, I wanted to illustrate just how you can actually use EDIT in your space planning and interior design projects.”

So, we played around with different settings. A restaurant, a hotel lobby, even an art exhibition. All spaces where great acoustics is an important part of the experience.

THE ART OF TRANSFORMATION

The balance between restoration and transformation is central to ’s practice. They describe it as working between respect and reinterpretation. Buildings should be treated as living objects. Not static to change.

It was in this process that subtle green tones emerged, hidden within the building’s fabric.

Rather than introducing an imposed palette, E+N chose to translate these existing hues into new elements. Kurage’s curtains were carefully colour-matched to echo the discovered tones, creating a dialogue between past and present. In this way, the new interventions remain grounded in the building’s original character.

“It’s really a colour scheme that came from exploring what was already in the building,” Anne Katrine, partner at E+N, explains.
