We love the Penelope Tote series by .

Made in Veneto, Italy from 100% Italian calf leather, the bag balances structure and softness in a slouchy, everyday silhouette. Designed for work and daily essentials, each piece highlights the depth and richness of leather as a natural material - from smooth leather to suede.

Created as an investment piece to be loved, used and passed down, the Penelope tote also reflects a slower approach to production. Wandler works on an order-on-demand basis to help avoid overproduction, and leftover leather is reused in future seasons, small leather goods, components or in-house prototypes.

A thoughtful example of craftsmanship, material quality and longevity.

A look back the Only Natural showcase at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen.

Across the exhibition, we were proud to present work by our wonderful designers and continue sharing the beauty, versatility and opportunity of natural materials with an international design audience.

A huge thank you to Material Matters for having us, and to everyone who visited, spoke with us and supported the designers on show.

Chloé’s re-edition of the iconic Tomato chair with is a beautifully fun example of natural materials in collectible design.

Originally designed in 1970 by Christian Adam, the chair’s rounded, sculptural form has been reissued under the creative direction of Chemena Kamali, bringing a new material focus to a design classic.

Crafted in soft, naturally tanned leather in cream, cognac, sand and black, the made-to-order edition celebrates tactility, comfort and the enduring beauty of natural materials.

We love the work of Max Bainbridge, whose sculptures are shaped through a deep relationship with wood, land and place.

Working with fallen trees, Bainbridge carves, hollows and casts the natural forms into sculptural objects. His practice looks at what trees carry through their lifetime - their environment, fragility and endurance - and reflects on our own place within the natural world.

The New BK Men Wool Knit Polka Bomber + Trouser by is playful, bold and beautifully sculptural.

The look shows how natural materials can carry real character. The oversized spotted wool knit brings softness and volume, while the matching trouser turns the full silhouette into something expressive and completely joyful.

A brilliant reminder that designing with natural fibres doesn’t have to mean muted or minimal - it can be graphic, experimental and full of energy.

We love Tessa Silva’s Smock Chair, shown by at .

Made and upholstered by hand using timber, coconut fibres, horsehair, wool and cotton, the piece brings together natural materials and extraordinary craft. With over 15,000 hand stitches, it’s a beautiful example of slow, material-led design.

Chuch Estudio - “chuch” meaning cute in Mayan - is a Mérida-based furniture and interiors studio founded by Aranza García in 2020.

Working with local resources, craft and colour, the studio creates playful, sculptural pieces rooted in Mexican culture and Yucatán’s artisanal traditions. One highlight is their handwoven stools, made in oak and Tzalam wood using petatillo weaving, a relatively new technique practised in the region for more than 50 years.

Also on our radar: the Banquitos Laterales - roughly translated as “little side stools” or “side benches” - wooden side tables/stools with the same colourful, expressive Chuch energy.
