Last year, we shared the story of our colleague Leif, who retired after an incredible 47 years with @.rainwear and was awarded The Royal Medal of Recompense in recognition of his loyal and dedicated service.

Recently, Leif had the honour of attending an audience with His Majesty The King of Denmark at , where recipients of royal honours were invited to mark this special recognition.

We are proud to see Leif receive this well-deserved recognition and delighted that he had the opportunity to experience this memorable day.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

Today marks one year since ELKA Rainwear A/S moved into our headquarters at Dueoddevej 3, DK-7400 Herning. A small milestone in ELKA’s long history, dating all the way back to 1958, when the company was founded in DK-7470 Karup.

While much has evolved over the years, our focus remains the same:
to provide our customers with waterproof solutions that combine certified protection, high durability and specialised know-how. We have been doing that for about 68 years, and for the past year from our new facilities in Herning, which have become a great base for our daily work and operations.

The day was marked with breakfast at the office and a moment to appreciate the year that has passed. Thank you to all employees, customers and partners who help drive ELKA forward every single day.
