Kontempo KONTEMPO is an association who works to raise awareness of the great potentials textile profession offers. We wants to investigate how far the limits goes!

Nu er foreningen Kontemporær Tekstil oprettet:

Foreningens formål er at udbrede kendskabet til hvad tekstilfeltet er, kan og vil! Endvidere ønsker foreningen at fremme medlemmernes interesser som professionelle tekstiludøvere gennem netværksdannelse, vidensdeling og samarbejde. Endelig afholdes årligt en salon, hvor foreningen udpeger en tekstildesigner, der har gjort noget særligt i forhold til hvad tekstildesign er, kan og vil. I den forbindelse uddeles prisen ”Kontemporær Tekstil”.

In our stories tomorrow you can follow one of the exhibitors from the installation 20x20; SIGNE MØLLER JENSEN ⚡️ Signe is an experienced textiles designer working for various design companies developing brand identity, having both a strategic yet a hands-on approach to developing collections and designing products. Her focus is particularly on textiles within the interior design and fashion.

As Signe herself says: “while others do yoga or fitness, I prefer to go to KONTEMPO!” Her hobby being her lifelong passion, Signe is committed to contributing to a dialogue within the arts on what textiles are and can be. For her the dialogue, discussion and community spirit behind KONTEMPO keeps her on her toes and transcends into her more commercial professional life as a designer.
