Can you feel the vibe? 🔊🎧🎚️
🧠✨ Did you know? Dancing at local festivals could actually make you feel more connected and less lonely.
A 2025 study by Satoshi Kawase (Kobe Gakuin University) and Kei Eguchi (Osaka) published in Frontiers in Psychology surveyed over 1,700 people across Japan. The results? Those who danced at festivals reported a significantly stronger sense of community and lower levels of loneliness—even months after the event—compared to those who didn’t dance or only attended non-dancing festivals.
🎶💃 The effect wasn’t linked to past habits or willingness—it was the act of dancing together that mattered most.
This research reinforces what we already feel in our bones: when we move in sync to rhythm, we bond as humans.
