Aroeni Aroeni is a page inspired and dedicated to all things Nauruan. Aroeni is a small online business that uses designs that are based off Nauruan culture.

It offers to create these unique designs on t-shirts, bula shirts, mumu tops and dresses, sulus. Also on stationary, tote bags, canvas etc. Aroeni will always try to offer the best products that represents a one-of a kind culture.

CONCEPT: lady of the moon
WHY? Because she is a huge part of EHC brand.
INSPO 1: Their logo
WHY? I thought it was a very beautiful artwork and it would make a nice correlation between their logo and their uniform.
INSPO 2: The Eigigu stamp
WHY? It was a beautiful artwork of Eigigu and this was where I got the idea to use stars.

I finished it by adding a touch of my own tribe inspired artwork to be a part of Eigigu.

The inspiration: The Emangum Tribe and the 12 pointed star.

Lil story: This was created on illustrator last month..I took the Emangum tribe artwork I made a long time ago. Then I used pieces of my artwork to border it top and bottom with the top one having 12 pointed stars on it because....for something different and we all love our 12 pointed star.

Once upon a time I thought Kauwe Iud was the national flower which was just a small part of why I liked and chose it as my logo BUT in fact it was the tomano flower that was our national flower..so I also created a little artwork for it inspired by a stamp. You learn something you SHOULD have already known everyday😅😅

What is Aroeni?
Aroeni is a small online business design brand featuring products with designs that are inspired by Nauruan culture.

Why the name 'Aroeni'?
1) I wanted a brand name that was in Nauruan.
2) I felt the meaning of this word (my interpretation) defines what I want this brand to be; designs belonging to Nauru for Nauruans.

Why create this brand?
From our unique 12 tribes to our beautiful string figures. From our colorful flowers to our indigenous animals, all the way to our lady on the moon. Nauru has an abundance of potential in creative design and I thought why not try and create a brand that showcases Nauru and its beautiful culture.
