November is here! Happy Take Ten Friday 🙂 This block is an easy one, and super cute to boot! Like June's block, I wanted to go with a seasonal theme for November and Falling Leaves is a great way to represent the changing of the seasons. I promised to share the project I made with the leftover scraps from the September Take Ten quilt block, and here it is! A very fun, very functional drawstring bag! Oh, what a month it has been! When gnomes and Christmas come together, the amount of fun just never ends! Plus, don't forget about the Santa Gnome; he is an important part of the party. My makes an appearance on a Saturday outside of Paris ⛱️

Paris was getting a bit warm in our western-facing non-AC apartment 😅 so we fled to Normandy for a beach afternoon. Tomorrow calls for rain so it’s a perfect day 😎

Wonderful to see commemorative banners for D-Day still up (tbh there are flags all year, people honor these WWII soldiers all year long), we are relaxing and seashell hunting and building sand castles today where the Canadians landed, fought, and many died 79 years ago. 🇨🇦

I made great progress on my today! 🦢

I had a little bit of time this afternoon for sewing and got the flying geese (can we, for this moment, call them flying swans?) all sewn and then the layout figured out. I should have this completed tomorrow!
