The universe knew I needed to be home today 🤍

I had a delivery coming and fully expected to miss it ,
but I had to dash home to rescue some fabric from the washing machine, and who do I bump into at the door? The postman!

And then I opened the parcel and actually gasped.

You know that feeling when you order fabric online and you’re never quite sure if it will live up to the pictures? This was the opposite. It was even more beautiful than I expected.

Huge thank you to Magali at in Paris, my absolute favourite fabric shop in the city. I love that even from Nice I can count on her completely. If you’re ever looking for exceptional lace and impeccable service, she’s your lady!🤍

She found it at the last minute. She’ll keep it forever.

The Flora Beaded Mini Veil holds a special place for me — it was my very first beaded mini veil. A new direction, a quiet experiment in craft.

And somehow, it found exactly the right bride. From Nice all the way to LA.

Tina reached out just a few weeks before her wedding. We made it work — and she made it beautiful.

My First Etsy Bride 🤍

I found this vintage lace at an antique market in Florence last year…
and yesterday it became a custom Juliet cap veil for my very first Etsy bride in the US 🤍✨

There’s something so special about seeing a material you’ve held onto find its perfect purpose. Carefully hand-dyed, shaped, and finished with mitred corners—every detail considered.

Two unforgettable weeks in Paris 🪡✨

Today I finished my final class at École Lesage, and as I’m sitting on the train home, I can’t help but wish I could relive every moment again.

For years I dreamed of coming here to properly learn the techniques of haute couture embroidery, and these past weeks exceeded everything I imagined. I loved every minute — from long days at the embroidery frame to evenings practicing my stitches and finishing my homework.

And when I wasn’t in class, Paris treated me incredibly well. Beautiful sunshine, inspiring fashion exhibitions, and hours spent wandering through my favourite fabric shops searching for lace, beads and sequins. Every moment felt creatively energising.

I’m leaving Paris feeling inspired, grateful, and even more excited to bring these techniques into my bridal work.

The only comforting thought right now?
I know I’ll be back soon for my second course.

There’s nothing to lose — only skills to gain 🪡

So many of you have told me how this is your dream and that you are living it through me.

I say go out there, find someone to teach you, invest in the school, watch those youtube videos, buy the books and try! There is nothing to loose, after all, its only embroidery!

There are moments thats change the entire course of your life!

In 2020, my friend Candela asked me to make her wedding dress.
Without hesitation, I said yes.

I didn’t know how yet — but I knew I would figure it out.

That one “yes” changed everything.
It led me here.

Sometimes all it takes is courage before certainty. 🤍
