According to tradition, the holiday symbolizes purification and new life. In the days of the White Month, it is customary to visit relatives and friends, and exchange gifts. The Lunar New Year among nomads is a time of renewal, harmony, and gratitude to nature. Tuvan Shagaa and Mongolian Tsagaan sar have common traditions: meeting the sunrise, rituals of purification by fire, abundant feasts with meat and white food, and respectful blessings to elders. These festivals represent strength, unity, and the beginning of a new cycle!
