The designs feature mixed lines, born out of the intertwining of two universes with strong codes: cultural heritage and aesthetics. Since h
er earliest childhood days, Marguerite was brought up both in the fashion world, by her grandmother (a seamstress for the biggest houses), and in the equestrian one (Marguerite has been riding since she was old enough to get in the saddle). Before launching her own brand, Marguerite got her start at Lanvin, before moving on to work as a stylist and project manager, all the while collecting equestrian medals, most notably as French Champion in Show Jumping. Elegant and sophisticated on the one hand, raw and straightforward on the other, it is with a natural consciousness that Marguerite mixes materials, shapes and textures without ever straying from the French tradition of hat making
Once the wool felt has been shaped into a hat in one of the world's famous French workshops, Marguerite hand makes her hats in her Parisian studio. Chains, the ancestral symbol of the link and relationship between sky and earth, are at the heart of the brand, as are the metal parts she uses, which are also meticulously crafted by jewelry workshops in Paris.
