Inspired by an alpine skyline, I designed this inlaid motif for this little wool A-line dress.

In these two outfits of my Fall/Winter 1998/99 collection, I combined a winter wool knit with the airy delicacy of silk organza and carried this contrast of materials further by embroidering the organza with the same wool yarn.

To achieve the subtle light-blue hue, I layered a deep blue mousseline beneath the sheer white organza, allowing the color to emerge softly through transparency.
