Trends come and go but childhood is fleeting. 🥺

When I create these pieces, the aim is never to make something modern or fast-fashion. It's to create something that feels special from the very first wear and becomes part of the memories that follow. 😍

The cardigan worn for a birth announcement. The jumper chosen for every trip out. The little knit that's reached for again and again until it's outgrown. 🧶

Made slowly, stitched by hand and created with the hope that long after it's been worn, it'll still be loved and treasured.

Tell me... what's one item from your childhood you wish you'd kept? 💛 Dare I say that I've kept a few things from the boys for potential grandchildren 🤣

Unfortunately for my family, I have a reel to edit
which means they’ve been listening to the same 7 seconds of audio on repeat for the last hour 🤭

They now all know the timing, the words and probably when the transition is coming too 🫶✨

After just over 40 garments sold this year, my mini business partner and I decided it was finally time to enjoy the rewards of our labour. 🥂

And by rewards, I mean drinks funded by 23p profit margins and blind optimism 🫠

If I waited until every stitch was perfect before I started, then this little business of mine wouldn't exist 🤍

Handmade isn’t about factory-level perfection. It’s about the tiny quirks, the late-night ideas, the learning as you go, the stitches that hold memories. 🫶

Excellence is a process. It grows with every order, every design, every “let me try that again". Just like this little cardigan, I wasn't happy with the stitching or the wording, so I redid it and I'm so glad I did! 💙

But isn’t a little imperfection part of the magic of handmade? ✨

Every cardigan, jumper and keepsake is made by real hands, in a real home, with real love stitched into every detail and I think that means more than perfect ever could. ♥️

I hate doing posts like this but small businesses don’t survive on likes alone. I haven't had a sale in a long time now except for family and a wonderful repeat customer. 😞 I know the algorithm is punishing me for taking time away.

Every order, share, comment, recommendation and save genuinely keeps this little business going. Behind every embroidered knit, personalised cushion and late-night stitching session is just me… trying to make this dream work around family life, school runs and everything else in between.

The reality of sales being really quiet lately make it hard not to let it knock my confidence when I pour so much of myself into what I create.

So if you’ve ever thought about ordering, sharing my page with a friend, tagging someone who’d love personalised keepsakes or even just engaging with my posts… this is me asking you to please do it 🫶🏻

Spent Monday at the gorgeous brunch stitching away between chats, laughs, hot coffees and chasing conversations 😂🪡

So many mums said they couldn’t believe I could stitch, walk and talk at the same time. I was feeling pretty smug about it until I realised I’d made one tiny mistake that is going to haunt me until I correct it 🥲

The worst part? Nobody else would probably notice it… but I know it’s there and now my eyes go straight to it every single time 🙃

Luckily, this one isn't for a customer as it's a sample so there's no rush. Life of being a boy mum! Even so, I'll correct it just the same as I would before I sent it out to its forever home. 😍🥰

Don't forget, there are so many different combinations to choose from for our floral initials and it can all be personalised by you! £25 and only a week turnaround at the moment before we start the serious packing. Get your orders in before the wait gets longer.

Some jumpers are just jumpers while others become *the* jumper. A part of their childhood that you can hold onto and treasure.

The one they reach for on sleepy mornings, muddy adventures, supermarket trips, sofa snuggles and every “I do it myself” outfit choice in between.

Seeing one of my knits become their jumper will never get old. The comfort knit. The lucky knit. The can-we-wear-it-again-even-though-it’s-in-the-wash knit 🥹
