Scrapping 'Ell is a joyful, handmade, slow fashion brand that upcycles new garments from secondhand clothing and vintage materials and fabrics which was founded in 2021 by me, Ellie Flinders. I only use what is already in existence to help protect our planet. Here at Scrapping 'Ell, you can find all the romantic, chic and well crafted pieces you have been dreaming of. s, puff sleeves, colourful and textured fabrics, elegant square necklines and loose fits. All Scrapping 'Ell garments are designed and handmade by me in my London Studio and all your vintage clothing is handpicked and locally sourced. My process includes designing, fabric sourcing, pattern drafting and cutting, sewing, steaming, labelling, packaging and dispatching each item, along with its own personal hand written note. When you think about it, my handmade garments are a bit of a bargain really!

Where the helly have I been?
Well, Scrapping ‘Ell has been a bit neglected recently due to a big old house move and a lot of bits that needed our immediate attention in this new little project.

Good news! I’m all sorted and settled and I’m back.
I’ve started making a new summer collection this week and I’m bloody loving it

The sun has been shining recently but imo you still need a little layer for the evening and those days it isn’t quite as hot. Good news for you as I’ve just put all my quilted pieces into my SALE ‼️

Some of these are heavily discounted as I’m not sure I’ll be continuing with quilted vests as interest has wained in them over the last year so this is a real chance to grab a bargain 💰

They’re handmade by moi, made from vintage quilts and surprisingly lightweight.

If you’ve been here since the beginning you’ll know it’s my fourth summer churning these beautiful tie back tops out. They’re just too good and since they have all been disappearing quickly since April, here’s eight more for ya!

These will be launching on my website this Friday at 9am 🕘 They range from size 8-14.

You’ve heard me banging on about the merits of these tops so I’ll keep it short - adjustable straps, adjustable tie back, cotton fabrics, no bra required, handmade, gorgeous, stunning, sexy, go with anything etc etc

The weather is glorious and so is this dress!
I adore this dress I made from a vintage curtain so so much. I made one in an orange floral for my friends wedding last summer and I knew I had to make one for you guys too 👗

As with a lot of my pieces, the party is in the back. It’s adjustable, bias cut and 100% lightweight cotton.

And it’s on my website now!

I’ve also just made one from an embroidered tablecloth which I will debut soon!

I made this wrap top recently and so many ooh and ahh over it but it still doesn’t have a home 🏠

It’s so easy to put on, very secure and very adjustable if you’re wanting to size up or down or you are in between sizes.

It’s available on my website now but hopefully not for long 💕
