In love with my new piece of art created by the very talented Did a workshop last year in Elaine's studio at and loved her work and she gave me lovely, welcoming vibes. I contacted Elaine about a week ago to comission an Angel as I love my angels and needed a nice reminder of love and hope around me just now and this beauty turned up today. Guys check out her work and don't forget to support local artists and designers out there, so much talent and creativity on our own doorsteps.

And that's a wrap for today.. started to use donated bedsheets for scrubs and I think they look pretty darn cool.. the textile and fashion industry have allot to answer for when it comes to the environment.. everything can be given a new lease of life if you use your creativity. These will be going to a care home this week. Made with love and support for our key workers :)

Making a quilt from a printed fabric I bought in Vienna. Decided to reuse a quilt I already had and make it reversible to save in wasting more fabric and wadding.. decided to use black bobbin thread as I love the very lose hand drawn look it creates on the old quilt.

Throw back to a Christmas present I made for a very good friend as her family continues to grow. Made from drift wood, string and allot of heart.
