WIP WEDNESDAY! - BEHIND THE SCENES!

I thought I'd show you my backside!😆

Because I can't show you the front of my finished granny square... because its part of a secret squirrel collab for the Autumn! 🙈🌿🍁

What I can tell you is that it's a twist on a trad granny incorporating a mosaic motif... and I've designed it in 2 versions...one more beginner friendly with sold Cole granny rounds... and this one with colourwork

So if you fancy testing it - you can test one or both , using scrap aran weight yarn - size = 12" square and you can make it in a day easy!

The thing about crochet design is... you have to work at least a season ahead to make sure your design is ready to land at the right time of year...

This is something I am absolutely useless at...unless it's someone else's deadline!

So while I am totally 'on it' to be designing Christmas magazine submissions in May... and working on this blanket collab project for September...

In my own patterns ... I'm trying to finish 2 beach themed wall hangings before the summer is out ! 🤣🤣🤣

WIP WEDNESDAY- WORDY WIP!

Yes something a bit different this week... my wips have been mainly wordy!

I've been working on getting one of my unreleased mosaic crochet blanket strip patterns written up, which shouldn't have been too long a task as I'd already got the photos, charts , samples etc but then iI decided to write a beginners Starter guide to mosaic crochet to go with it... so it's taken over a week for just that! 🙈 but the last edits were done tonight so look out for both of these coming soon!
