So sorry for being so quiet!
Its been full on party mode in our household for the last few days due to our beautiful little lady turning 1! 🥹🥰
I thought i would take this moment to re-introduce myself to all my new followers ☺️
I'm Aimz (Aimee), I'm 28, I have a super cute scaly baby called Sid 🦎, two handsome fur babies, a beautiful 1 year old little lady, handsome partner and super supportive family and friends.
I have been an Artist for the last 8 years, a fashion deisgner/machinist for 8 years and is the owner of Aimz alterations and bespoke service for 7 years!
I've always been super creative, done Fine Art and Photography at college for 2 years...
I had no idea what I wanted to do! All I knew was I absolutely loved designing, creating and making clothing.
I went to uni and studied Fashion Design, resulting in getting a BA Hons degree.
Meanwhile, I set up my small business, taking on alterations, making my own clothing, alterations for homeware, making cushions, designing tattoo's, producing commission pieces and crochet.
I also self-taught myself certain skills along the away to advance my knowledge and perfect my techniques.
This was the start of me realising that I only wanted to work for myself, to have complete control over how I 'do' life but at the same time I knew I had to keep my day job to fund my small business through the early stages.
My day job (part time): I work at The Wedding Shop as a Fitter and Seamstress.
I have been there for 4 years and I absolutely love my job!
At the present moment it's all steam ahead for my small business with prom, evening wear, occasionwear, Bridesmaids, wedding dress alterations.
As well as looking after my little lady 👶
