Two years ago, I had the absolute joy of creating this bespoke First Holy Communion dress for my own daughter 💕👗

It was such a special project—designed and handmade from scratch with so much love. From the delicate lace bodice and sleeves to the layered organza skirt with a soft blush underlay, every detail was chosen to reflect her personality and the significance of the day. The satin sash and classic button-up back added just the right touch of timeless elegance.

Creating this dress for her was a true labour of love, and one of my proudest moments as both a mum and a dressmaker 💖

💚A lovely customer collected her altered bridesmaid dress yesterday 🥰

She needed the length to be taken up so it didn't drag along the floor, and she wanted just a small bit of fabric to cover the back area and no tie at the tie. So I created a modesty panel complete with buttons to cover this area and help my customer feel more comfortable.

💚The colour is gorgeous and even matched my living room colour scheme!💚

A few weeks ago, I posted a pattern from Bethnal Green Museum, which has now been dated as 1970s. 🦆

I've made the gorgeous Duck cushion and given to my Auntie to remember my Grandma by, who owned the pattern since then.

How gorgeous do the colours look, and how fab is the condition 😍 ❤️ it literally felt like I was holding an actual duck! Pretty sure it's meant to be a life-sized cushion and now it has a new home along with a beautiful bow 💜🎀
