What an end to 2025 and start to 2026.
For me, it's all been about this little poppet, Lila.
Pets like to time things well don't they, so she became poorly with multiple deep eye ulcers on the 23rd of December. Multiple miles driven, many appointments with our vet and the specialist in Havant miles away, 7 medicines/eye drops given up to 8 times a day(and night!) and yet she's been an absolute angel throughout.
It's been busy, with little time to celebrate Christmas, let alone the New Year, but my best present has been that she's getting better.
So here is my belated Christmas and New Year message. Let's make 2026 fabulous, and eye ulcer free! 😺 👁️ ❤️

I'm a bit late as usual, but ...Happy New Year! If you are following me, then I am sure you are already aware that I am not a big social media creator.
For those new to me, here's why...
The main reason is that I'm just so busy doing the daily tasks for running my store. I run it on my own, with some packaging help from my Mum, so time is scarce. There is so much involved, and I never have enough time, which I'm sure a lot of you can relate to!
I'd rather focus on long replies to customer emails, rather than a short sentence, as I know that's where you need me most. I also focus on maintaining the quality of my products, posting out quickly to you, and trying to evolve to give you the product information and products you need.
In my personal life, I spend a lot of time caring for my cat with advanced kidney disease (Honey, who pops up in the odd product video!), so I'm rarely in the social media apps to remind me to post. In the future I may become a social media mogul, but all the while she's still with me, cuddles and care are top of my list 💗 I'll post some pics so you can see what a cute old (18) lady she is!

Hello! Here is a little bit about me:
I'm Jo and I run my little online shop in a lovely place by the sea in Sussex (UK - just along from Brighton), and I have been lucky enough to have been doing so since 2007. My little shop was born in the world as "Silicone-Sally", which was a cheeky play on Silicone Valley as well as being quite easy to remember. The business grew, and the kind of women coming to me for help changed as word spread about my products, so I decided to re-brand simply to "Jo Thornton" in 2013. I wanted all those ladies who needed help after surgery or were more self-conscious about their purchase, to know that I am here and I am here to help.
The company started with a simple goal, to give ladies a wider range than the shops provide, at much better prices. I know that not every woman is the same size and shape and deserves to be able to buy the breast enhancer that she needs to fit her bra, and give her the boost she wants. Not only do we all have different size and shape breasts, but we also want different things from different outfits and bras, and deserve to have those needs catered for.
Over the last few years I have managed to grow and achieve this goal, and are now proud to have the biggest and best breast enhancer/chicken fillets range in the UK, woo hoo! I added breast forms/prosthetic breasts to my range back in 2008 and now have served thousands of happy customers with these and my body tape/tit tape and ni**le covers. I love being able to help you all, I love the challenge of running a small business and I love hearing your stories and feedback.
My Mum is now on-board with the company as my only behind-the-scenes employee, helping with the stock side of things, so we really are a small family business!

I was also on TV on a BBC3 show called “Are Your Fake Breasts Safe?”, and lots of you seem to remember me from that!
Who are you really? What sort of things do you like?
I love the simple things in life. I love to learn and grow, to walk, talk with good friends and enjoy time with my family. I am lucky enough to live near the sea and overlooking the hills in beautiful Sussex and I go walking around when I can, but not nearly enough. I have two fuffy Ragdoll cats (Honey and Lila) who like to sleep on my keyboard, and an awesome daughter Millie who is still at primary school. My favourite things are most certainly movies and music, and I usually have some music on when I am packaging up your goodies. I like to spend my spare time learning new skills around the home and I am a big fan of art. I love to make as many birthday and Christmas presents as I can. I also have Lupus, which is a disease that affects me on a daily basis, but your lovely emails and feedback keeps me going on the really tough days :)
