This behind-the-scenes look shows the final, satisfying steps of bringing our Verve table to life.

We source discarded plastics, process them, and craft them into these incredibly durable, unique table tops. Because of the way the materials blend, no two patterns are ever exactly the same!

1,200 CDs into one custom worktop.

We’ve been taking everyday plastic waste and turning it into solid architectural surfaces right here in our Bristol studio. We just finished CNC-cutting this custom sink basin and plumbing holes for a recent London project.

The closer you look into RE-CD, the more fragments of old music and artwork you can see. It can be fitted the same way as stone, but also gives a second life to waste plastic.

Turning ~1,200 discarded CDs into a custom sink basin and worktop for a home in London. 🪚

Once we melt and press the waste plastic into solid boards, we can CNC-cut the exact plumbing holes and dimensions needed. It installs exactly like a standard stone countertop, but the up-close details are completely unique - full of fragments of music, artwork, and culture.

Totally waterproof. 100% recycled. What would you build out of RE-CD?

What you’re looking at is 100% recycled electronic waste.

To create our RE-CD surface panels, we take obsolete CDs, shred them down, and press them using just heat and pressure—no virgin plastics, no toxic resins.

The result? A highly durable, sustainable sheet material that behaves like stone but carries the unique, iridescent history of its past life.

Currently finishing these table tops in the workshop for an upcoming interior project. 🛠️
