Excited to share I am part of Bristol Creatives at Diana Porter, a new exhibition bringing together 17 talented Bristol-based jewellers.

Inspired by the people, places, and stories that make Bristol so special.

The Sinking Signet (silver, 18ct gold & peridot) was inspired by Bristol’s independent spirit and creative culture. By allowing a marquise-cut peridot to appear as though it is slowly sinking into the face of a traditional signet ring, I wanted to disrupt a form historically associated with permanence, status and convention. The piece explores how familiar objects can be transformed through subtle changes in perspective, creating something both recognisable and unexpected.

I kept my lips sealed for about 4 months whilst working on my best friend of 24 years engagement ring 🥹

The brief: no fancy settings, it needs to be smooth and comfortable because she’s a practical girlie who doesn’t really wear a lot of jewellery.

We scattered some star set diamonds around the band, with the central diamond being sourced from the brilliant (discovered in the ocean in South Africa). A nod to the sea was an extra special touch for this scuba loving bride to be.

Delicious delicious delicious wedding ring set that was collected last week. We set tiny diamonds on the inside of the band with the wedding date engravings, 🥺 it’s allll in the little details.

Made from 18ct gold and set with G’s heirloom diamonds. (Engagement ring not by me).
