Current situation: attempting to crochet by candlelight because the house is still too warm 😅🧶🕯️

I'm not entirely convinced this is a practical crafting setup, especially when candles make me nervous 😅🫣

Still, progress is being made and I'm slowly building up stock ready for the Kingston Bagpuize Village Fête on 27th June 💚✨

If anyone needs me, I'll be over here squinting at stitches, hoping I don't lose count, and questioning whether a head torch might have been a better idea 👀😂

I will be at the Kingston Bagpuize Village Fête on Saturday 27th June! 🧶💚

This much-loved village fête has been running for over 40 years and takes place in the beautiful grounds of Kingston Bagpuize House — which some of you may recognise from Bridgerton as the Mondrich family estate! 👀✨

I'll be bringing a selection of handmade crochet goodies, crochet kits, yarn, mystery bundles and more.

It's always a lovely community event with craft stalls, games, music, food, ice cream and plenty to see and do ☀️🍦🎶

Current mission: Raffia yarn 👒🧶

I've stepped outside my usual comfort zone and decided to try working with raffia for the first time.

It's a little tougher on the hands, a little stubborn, and definitely keeping me on my toes 😅 but I absolutely love how it's looking so far.
Now to see if I can turn this pile of stitches into a hat 👀✨💚

Does anyone else's brain ever respond to stress by starting approximately 47 new projects? 😅🧶
I've been a little quieter than usual this week after a medical appointment, and somehow I've ended up with way more projects on the go than I planned 😂

The upside is that while looking through my photos, I realised I'd completely forgotten to share these baby blankets! 💚✨

So before I disappear in an attempt to finish at least one project, I thought I'd finally show them off 🍼🧶

Made from super soft 100% Brazilian cotton, it's lightweight, breathable and perfect for summer ✨

Think holidays, beach days, picnics, festivals, poolside lounging or simply enjoying the sunshine ☀️🌴🏖️

This one is a medium and available for £35, but I can also make them in custom sizes and colours 💚

Honestly, I’m really pleased with how this one turned out 😍🧶

🌻 Fresh off the hook! 🌻

Just finished this sunflower cardigan, so happy with how it turned out 😍

Made with a soft merino/acrylic blend and finished off with the cutest little sunflower brooch 🌻✨
This one is an XL, but I do take custom orders if anyone would like one in a different size or colour combination 💚

Now the question is... what project should I start next? 👀🧶

👀 New yarn alert! 💚🧶

This beauty arrived today and I can't decide what to make with it 😍

It's a super soft cotton blend with what I'm calling a pastel neon rainbow 🌈✨

Think summer sweets, ice lollies and sunshine all rolled into one yarn cake ☀️🍬

✨ Fresh of the hook! ✨

With the weather being so warm lately, I've been swapping the chunky yarn for lighter cotton projects ☀️🧶

This top has been keeping me busy and it's finally finished 💚

I love how the colours worked up and the lightweight, airy feel of it ✨

Approx. 35 hours of crochet later... I'd say it was worth it 🥰
