Tangerine Dreams! Wow, I loved crocheting this rug. I was gifted tie dyed cotton sheets from a lovely friend (after I said no thank you to her offer of plain white cotton ones!) Nothing wasted in my house! Crochet fun with an old pair of socks. It's a lot easier to crochet with a continuous length of yarn so just cut almost through to the folded edge then open out and cut diagonally across. Works for tshirts and socks!

As many of you know my hubby and I run which means I get to travel to some amazing places with lots of lovely guitar players and their partners. My hook always comes with me and often I get to share my rag crochet teachings and creations. Perfectly imperfect! Problem is I wanted a square coaster not a rectangle. So, for all those who messaged me about how to make a twining loom for a 10x10cm coaster, apologies! I need to add a couple more panel pins top and bottom. Something I can't do while I'm on holiday so bear with me, I'll be back on it on my return!

So, I discovered my handmade twining loom needs a little tweaking to make square coasters! If at first you don't suceed....

So, I discovered my handmade twining loom needs a little tweaking to make square coasters! If at first you don't suceed....grateful just to have the time to play, experiment and learn new skills. Back to the hook in the meantime and pretty happy with my tshirt coasters. Even happier with the pastel de nata that hubby has just brought back from our local bakery with a coffee!
