So why Builth Assembly Services?

I'm Simon I've always had a passion & knowledge in DIY but I've never offered out my services and friends, family always mentioned you should do something for others they would probably appreciate the help?

So if you're pushed for time or generally hate flat packs I could be of assistance?

Flat packs has become an integral part of society these days but offers good value for money at the same time & I've had my share of IKEA or Argos products in the past

So what can I bring to the table? (Possibly literally & metaphorically)

Knowledge, experience dealing with flat pack I think when you have an appreciation for DIY that helps plus it's a good brain exercise figuring out how a pile of pieces becomes one unit

My own lil box of tools I generally will use hand tools like screwdrivers flat packs are not designed for power tools & a blanket to work on

Obviously with the nature of the beast there has to be a few caveats in place & sometimes flat packs will come to you incomplete or worse damaged from the seller or courier damage

There will be a couple of pieces of paper for you to sign prior but if damage or incomplete is found upon opening I will stop the assembly service until such time you can arrange with your buyer on replacement or spare parts

If you're within the 15 mile radius of Builth Wells I will not charge for the trip as I know how frustrating it can be to buy something and not be able to use it (subject to change) anything over 15 miles will be charged at £1.50 a mile round trip but if you find damage prior please let me know 24hrs beforehand

Because I'm just myself I currently don't offer services on XL items like sliding wardrobes as example just too big n heavy poses a greater risk ie injury to myself or your item being damaged & I want to help you not inconvieance you

I'm unable to collect from likes of IKEA or Argos the items must be delivered to your home address & within reason in the room of installation, I understand sometimes medically that may not be possible and I perfectly understand and will assist

Please note I'm an assembly service only not a fitter so anything requiring attaching to the fabric of your home you will have to seek alternatives

Flat-Pack Assembly – Terms and Conditions

1. Our Services
We assemble flat-pack furniture according to the manufacturer’s instructions. We do not provide delivery, items must be on site at the address specified

2. Your Responsibilities

Please make sure the area is clear, safe, and accessible.

All furniture parts and hardware must be available.

We will check prior to assembly if everything is present if for whatever reason the item is incomplete work will stop immediately & will not proceed

It is your responsibility to liaise with your buyer/supplier on any faults found we are just an assembly service

Waste is the responsibility of the owner please discard with your local authority

3. Pricing and Payment

We will provide a quote before starting.

Payment is due once the assembly is finished.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.

Late cancellations may incur a fee.

5. Liability

We work carefully, but we are not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage to your property.

Faulty or missing parts from the manufacturer.

Injuries to anyone on site.

We do not drill or hang items to your property we are just an assembly service

Our liability is limited to the cost of the assembly service provided.

6. Safety
We may refuse to work if the area is unsafe or conditions could cause harm.

7. Acceptance
By booking our service, you agree to these terms.

Please note each item is subject to size/complexity & time required to assemble prices are a guide please email with requirements

Small Items - Single chairs, bedside tables, small storage units small TV units £25–£40 per item

Medium Items Desks, Table & Chairs combo, bookcases, medium TV stands, medium storage units Single-Double freestanding wardrobe £40–£60 per item

I currently don't offer services on extra large items like sliding/walk in wardrobes

If your beyond the catchment area of Builth Wells of 15 miles or more there is a transport fee of £1.50 per mile Upto a 40 mile radius
