A few changes! ⚠️
Sorry for the long post! I've had a little re-think about how the cupboard is going to work going forward. I want to offer you guys new and exciting things every time we open, but unfortunately this is not possible if I open every week. 😭
As most of you know I have a (very nearly) 5 year old and I work a full time job alongside this. I'm also very open about how my mental health has drastically affected my life and with a job that is mentally demanding I need to ensure I don't burn myself out! 💕
OPENING TIMES: From now on, we will be open one weekend of every month (towards the end of payday). For July, we will be open Friday 24th July - Monday 27th July (at the end of the first week of the school holidays!) so make a note in your diaries! 💌
PRICING: I run this cupboard as I love making stuff. As somebody who struggled for years on a low income, I want to keep things as cheap as I can. For this reason, I have decided to keep everything in the cupboard £10 or under. I know how difficult it is when your little one asks for a treat at the shops and you have to say no because you can't afford it. I've felt that guilt way too many times! 💰
COMMISSIONS/ORDERS: I will continue to keep my books open for requests. This can be ordering something I have already made for collection outside of opening hours, ordering multiples or something completely different! I am open to anything so if you have any special occasions coming up you need a gift for, or just to treat yourself, please drop me a message! 📱
Just to reiterate - we aren't going anywhere! I have so many ideas for new things I just need some time to make them! The only way I can keep things fresh is to have the time - everything is made by hand by me which takes time (e.g. a crochet highland cow takes me around 2 hours to make)! So keep your eyes peeled as I'll continue to share as I've made them! 💞
