A veil for Grace 💘

Filled with warm summer flowers that gather at the train of the veil and climb upwards to end at mid-length.

Created in a Chapel length with custom flowers including sunflower, sweet pea and lavender, with personalised text of the couples' wedding date and 'Forever and ever and ever' as their meaningful quote.

We also collaborated on a beautiful matching tulle belt for her wedding dress that included the same summer flowers to bring some delicate colour into her dress 🪡

I'm so grateful every day to work with such lovely and creative brides as Grace. 🩷

I've always loved broderie anglaise 🤍 There's something so delicate and sweet about it. It reminds me of light layers, summer evenings and breezy dresses with little details.

I added this broderie anglaise ruffle to our signature tulle, making something very light and simple that would frame lots of vintage floor length dresses well 🪡 I feel like a larger, longer version of this veil would be perfect for cottage style, relaxed summer weddings especially when paired with floaty gown made from many layers. 🤍🤍🤍

I had an idea for a design with 3D flowers that layer on the tulle embroidery to create added texture and dimension. So I sketched out some ideas for embroidered applique flowers that mimic the flower shapes underneath. 🪡

Each one is created individually using multiple shades of thread to create the petal effect, and then sewn onto the veil by hand. It looks really lovely in the light captured by Anne Letournel | Wedding Stories – FR & Abroad and is such a nice balance with the ivory organza flowers, which are much lighter in colour and fabric weight.

This technique would work particularly well for white on white or ivory veil designs, where textural differences and details stand out. 🤍

The Georgia Ornate Scroll Veil 🤍

Inspired by the arts and crafts movement (which seems extremely pertinent for the time we're living in!) this embroidered veil is full of similar natural motifs.

I wanted it to feel decorative and pretty, using natural green threads for the scrolling vines and light shades of lilac, ivory and peach for the flower blossoms and buds. I love researching and taking inspiration from heritage art movements as the basis for the initial sketches. However, I completely underestimated the time it would take to embroider by hand, so this piece will stay one of one. 🤍

Made in a drop veil style (similar to how you'd wear a mantilla veil) with very sheer tulle, finishing at fingertips length.

Beautiful details from Georgie's hand embroidered wedding veil 🤍

Created in an organic meadow style with meaningful flowers, lily of the valley, bluebell, english lavender, blue hydrangea, wisteria, pink tulips and a scattering of peach dahlias and pink peonies. Finished with a delicate handmade ruffle.

A truly personal piece for a beautiful English garden inspired wedding and absolutely lovely bride.

Delicate florals in pastel colours for this bespoke cathedral wedding veil 🤍

Filled with blue hydrangeas, pink roses, lavender, forget me not, sweet pea, blue delphinium, cosmos and peony buds. All embroidered by hand using traditional needlework techniques to create a custom flower border.

Finished with a meaningful love heart, couple initials and tiny paw prints.🪡

Such a pretty design for a bride who had the most beautiful mood board and a clear vision for her bridal look and English garden flower wedding.

A bespoke waterfall cut veil inspired by the beautiful scenery of the Lake District where the couples' engagement took place 🤍

Featuring an entirely hand embroidered silhouette of mountains and rivers with little trees. Finished with a handmade detachable bow to wear during the ceremony and separately after.

Such a pleasure to make for a sweet bride and a very meaningful and delicate design that reflects them both.
