Hey, did you know our Tulle Box boas are vegan?

Like leather, suede and fur, most of the feathers that are used to make traditional boas come from animals that have been killed. Many feathers are sourced from countries without animal protection laws, where birds may even be plucked live.

If you're looking for a cruelty-free alternative, every boa we make is made of organza tulle fabric, a purely synthetic material that also has the advantages of being washable and hypoallergenic, whilst still providing the fullness and glamour you'd expect from a traditional feather boa.
