👀 Is the universe finally on my side?? 👀
I can’t help but feel euphoric and hopeful after today’s timeline of events…and it’s only 10:30am!!
1. Odie slept from 10:30pm till 4:20am and then again from 5:10am till 7:15am! But no, I don’t ‘feel like a new woman’ as I was still awake most of the night with the ‘must press the monitor and check on him’ disease has well and truly taken over my nightly existence! Nevertheless, I’m so proud of you little dreamer ✨
2. Cam told me to treat myself to a Costa this morning 🤍 I ordered a LARGE (I know, I could have taken out a mortgage for the amount that these now cost but…) I drove round to the window to collect the LITERAL liquid gold and was told that the gentleman in front had paid for my order. Apparently he is a regular and does it every week - what an absolute hero, you best believe it was the best tasting FREE coffee I’ve ever had in my life!
3. The girls were BOTH ON TIME for school and nursery?! Wtaf?!
4. I then received a confirmation email that my order was ready to pick up…a present from me to me. You best believe this sleep deprived mama cried a few happy tears when I got back in the car for the pure and simple fact that I was holding something that Paloma Faith had touched and no I’m not going to apologise for it 🤷🏼♀️😂 Here’s to buying my first book in about 10 years because she’s the only person that can get this dyslexic gal to try and read something that isn’t a children’s picture book ✌🏻🙃
5. This one is a biggy. I quite simply haven’t felt this proud of myself for a very long time. It’s a very strange feeling and I’m working to embrace it each day and not feel guilty about wanting to shout it from the rooftops. This being said, I wouldn’t have been granted this opportunity if it wasn’t for my ridiculously supportive fiancé constantly being my cheerleader in life and recommending my skills set to the director whilst he himself is working his ass off 24/7 with his own business that’s just flourishing from day to day. I am forever indebted to him 🤍 so what is it??
Today is the official day that little old me (Social Butterfly Cumbria) becomes the Social Media Manager for our local radio station, CRFM and my first set of approved graphics are going live on all socials and our website!
So here’s to being on maternity, being a working mama, being a pretty s**t washing, drying and cleaning lady for the household and being a little bit proud of myself for once 💪🏻
P.s. you best believe Odie’s just SHARTED, meaning this post will not be posted at the correct time…but hey…it’s okay as it’s only my socials, not my clients and that’s just the reality of trying my best to be a top notch mummy, fiancé and business woman!
