May is almost at an end but we have 2 carrier clinics remaining:
* Oswestry this Saturday, 23rd
* Shrewsbury next Saturday, 30th

You can book half an hour or an hour and we can go through various options.

Our next funded fit check session at Oswestry Library is Monday July 6th which is a drop in.more carrier clinics remaining - one in Oswestry this Saturday (23rd) and one in Shrewsbury next Saturday (30th)

These are dedicated 1 family sessions of either half an hour or an hour bookable at:

Tomorrow!
We're hitting the town... NEWTOWN, that is!

Can you tell my week has been mostly sorting my littlest 3rd Birthdaaaaaay!?!
Successfully collected and built a swing (facebook sales bargain!), secured a hot wheels set (other small metal cars are available!), went to a Toy Story themed brunch and played all afternoon in the park, where there was also boat racing and brass band music!!

Great fun was had, much tired is now.

But tomorrow:
Funded Fit checks at Newtown BfG 10-11.30 at the Integrated Family Centre SY16 1EG.

Newtown Breastfeeding Friends Group - Newtown BFG are hosting us next Monday at the integrated family centre :)

No group running tomorrow as it is bank holiday & the family centre is closed.

May Babywearing Support in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales ❤️

I just returned to the most epic exercise/dance class I have ever attended run by Boogie with Benny. Anyone who knows me knows I have almost no coordination, but these classes are welcoming whatever your level, fun - music and moves, and get those feel good hormones flowing. One hour for me to let go, shake it off and feel awesome!

Benny runs classes in various locations, today I went to Oswestry because I am here any way for free fit checks at Morrisons.

What is making you feel good?

This month in Oswestry we have funded five point fit checks today AND carrier clinic appointments later in the month too!!

Both session are in the community room at Morrisons.

Come along for support to make babywearing safe, confident and comfy for your family.

Fit checks - we aim to spend 10 minutes with each family, dependent on how many families attend the session. Babywearing questions - ask away!

Carrier clinic appointments - these are paid for half an hour or an hour sessions focussing on a babywearing topic of your choice:
* antenatal preparation - an overview of newborn options, get a feel for a few ways of carrying your new addition.
* newborn options - baby has arrived and you want to carry them with your arms free
* next steps - baby is not considered newborn any more, but isn't quite sitting up independently
* back carrying - baby is six months or so, sitting up independently and has fab head control and you're looking at carrying them on your back
* feeding in slings or carriers - does what it says on the tin!
* twins and multiples and carrying
* older baby/toddler/pre schooler of beyond!
* ...plus many more babywearing topics - ask and we shall endeavour to support your family!

Time with Laura will depend on how many families attend.
We aim to spend 10 minutes or so with each family, where we can support you with your existing carrier or wrap, or you can peruse a selection from our extensive library.
