I am getting so seriously fed up of Facebook (and so by default, Instagram)'s stoopid 'policies'. I'm at the point of giving up, because it seems the ableist world of social media is working its hardest to stop me.⠀
I'm NOT going to stop shouting about it but i AM so worn down by the daily (yes DAiLY, i've had 74 more items rejected yet again today) battle of fighting of justifying my items just to get them seen.⠀
⠀
It's maddening that FB is constantly trying to get small independent sellers like myself to advertise our products with them yet also constantly 'rejects' the very same products, all because of their very ableist policies! 😠⠀
⠀
Note to Facebook/Instagram, and PLEASE PAY ATTENTiON: ⠀
my items should NOT be rejected- they are neither medical NOR healthcare products, they are simply humourous tops for other wheelchair users like myself, to raise awareness and make light of the comments and reactions er often encounter. ⠀
Furthermore, you're blanket assumption that anything related to wheelchairs constitutes MEDiCAL/HEALTHCARE items is incredibly ABLEiST so STOP doing it!⠀
