This week London has had its annual major art week. PAD, Freeze and big sales at Christie’s and Sotheby’s. So when word goes round that the must show is “This Is Still Not A Pipe: The Afterlife of Magritte” at Gagosian Gallery Gagosian curiosity takes the better and I go. Wow, what a fantastic, interesting and beautifully curated show. Bravo Jasper Sharp and Bernard Lagrange. The exhibition deals with the legacy of Magritte and his enduring influence on contemporary art. Paintings on loan from the Foundation Magritte presented alongside works by more than 40 contemporary artists. The show runs until December 12th.

Over the last year we have been involved in many different wedding projects . This has not just been designing the wedding dresses , we have been also asked to make our beautiful hand embroidery veils which we make in Morocco and maybe a little lace top, jacket or coat. Here is one perfect example

This fresco details of the Blessed Virgin Mary comes from the 16th-century Nativity of Jesus (Natività di Gesi) fresco, which is attributed to the
Foppesque school (scuola foppesca), a style heavily influenced by the Renaissance master Vincenzo Foppa. Scholars frequently associate the ex*****on of this specific fresco with the
Renaissance painter Andrea Bembo.
