😎☀️Busy day yesterday catching up with orders while the clubs are on pause for the holidays. So many lovely, summery fabrics being transformed into holiday outfits. ☀️😎

😎☀️Here comes the sun!☀️😎

After 4 days and 8 lessons of manifesting good weather by making sun visors, our hard work has paid off with a heatwave! You're welcome 😊

We finished a very busy term with this tricky make which incorporated neat top stitching, scrunching fabric and the burrito method to create something which will come in very handy over the weeks to come.

I'll be taking a break from workshops over half term to focus on sewing up a storm for Hopefully the sun will keep shining as I have lots of bucket hats on the to do list after they sold out on both days last year.

🐻Memory bears🐻

I have been inundated with requests for memory bears over the past few weeks. I currently have 11 on the books for memorial bears as well as some for school leavers. I'll soon be closing the books for these as I prepare for my biggest market of the year, in Cardiff at the end of June. If you'd like to join my order list, please get in touch asap.

🧺Picnic bags🧺

After seeing a video on Instagram a few weeks back featuring this smart bag, I knew we had to make one as part of our festival mini theme. From the outside it looks like a regular bag but once opened up, it doubles as a handy picnic mat - perfect for summer picnics and band watching at festivals.

🐝🧵💗Wow! What a fantastic day we had on Saturday at our Celebration of Sewing 2026 with CazSews , .creations and 💗🧵🐝

Our guests were just brilliant, spilling all about their time on The Great British Sewing Bee, encouraging my young sewers, posing for many a photo and finally, taking part in our very own transformation challenge! What absolute super stars 🌟🌟🌟

My 57 Sewing Squad members had spent the last 3 weeks making items to sell and decorations to hang around the hall, creating a vibrant environment on the day.

After the final count, and a cheeky little top up, we raised £1000 for our two chosen charities Seren Dwt Down syndrome community Wales and 21 Plus 😲 A huge thank you to everyone who attended for their support and of course the brilliant bees for being such great sports and travelling many hours to be with us for the day. Lifetime memories have definitely been made 💗

🛍🛒Pig and Pip is back in Cardiff!🛒🛍

Today we're in the big city dropping off stock at the newly opened in the High Street Arcade. It's so nice to be stocked around so many Welsh makers that I've met along my journey these past few years including who was once stocked in my Chepstow shop and who was my stall neighbour in Tafwyl last year. Check it out if you're visiting the capital anytime soon.

❤️Memory Cushions❤️

Recently I've had the lovely task of celebrating one special lady's career in Girl Guiding by turning her neckers, tops and bags into these precious memory cushions for her friends and family. Now, whenever they look at them they can remember all of the good times they shared together.
