rt Nuvo: Our Story (so far!)

I like to be creative. I like to make things and be crafty. I like to make things for my friends and family beause they'll like them and appreciate the effort i've put into making things for them. The idea for SMart Nuvo started when my friend told me about a small hessian bag she's seen with 'Lunch' embroidered on it in buttons but said it was too expensive so she didn't buy it. I suggested she could make one herself but she laughed and reply 'I dont think so!' rather sarcastically. So I set about making her a bag as a surprise, which she loved when I presented it to her the next week at work. From there other people saw the bag and upon liking it asked if i could make them one too saying 'I'll pay you for it!'. Well that's all i needed to hear! So i started making a few and to my surprise selling a few rather quickly. So I made a few more and before i knew it I had lots of orders and a waiting list! SMart Nuvo was born. I am now a dedicated small handmade craft business owner and although it is hard work and long hours, which are spent toiling over the sewing machine, it is so far a successful creative outlet that i am proud of. With the one added side effect of now being addicted to material shops, stalls, haberdashary's and rummaging through off-cut bins. But i like what i have achived so far and hope it will suceed and go further. Watch out for me on a Google Ad soon! =D
