I remember seeing A picture of these Bape camo caps floating all over in the early 2000’s. I can’t explain how much I wanted one but had no idea or way in obtaining one... The design concept of the caps never left my mind after all these years. The blessing of design is being able to draw inspiration, recreate and produce your visions based on your own interpretation of things that mean something to you. These Camo caps probably have more sentimental value to me than any other product we’ve produced, they symbolise a time, error, emotion and passionate love for design and fashion I felt in my early teens. I didn’t grow up on Gucci, Loui Vuitton or balenciaga, I was raised from the school of streetwear, printed Gildan tees, a bathing ape, billionaire boys club and iced out watches..

Sometimes you need to step back to analyse why you started what you started in the first place... let the Love drive you and realise you are In control of your own narrative. Don’t try and fit in to the boundaries of the “industry”.
