So delighted to work on this beautiful dress, originally worn by this young lady's grandmother at a debutant ball in the 50's, later by her mother in the 70's and now adjusted to fit her for her prom. Just goes to show that quality and style beats fashion any day!

Another first today, thanks to Covid. A lovely lady needed to ‘match’ a face mask to her gorgeous wedding outfit in time for a wedding this Saturday. We didn’t match exactly, but we did manage a stylish contrast. With sparkles! Good job I have got an enormous fabric stash!

Washable cotton/polycotton Facemasks hot off the press! Lots of colourful new fabrics, now with comfortable cotton jersey ear loops. £3 each, which includes a donation to BGN, who are providing food parcels and support to vulnerable/shielding people in the Dorking area.

I will be making more fabric face masks this weekend. Just let me know how many, and if you prefer ties (that go around the head) or ear loops. £3 each please, which obviously does not cover costs, but is a donation towards materials which helps me to keep making. Stay safe everyone! 🌈😷

Ear savers! I made that name up as I’m not sure what else to call them. They are for the staff at Dorking Hospital to wear. You pop these on the back of the head and loop the face mask elastic around the buttons. This saves sore ears after long shifts... oh, and there might be some chocolate on it’s way over too! 🌈💖👏😷
