FORMAL DRESS ALTERATIONS!

I will be opening up my diary for formal dress appointments in August, I will have limited availability for this throughout the formal season. So whether it's a dress for a formal, if you're a wedding guest or you're graduating, book in your formal attire now :)

Clothing in shops is made to fit the average body and I don’t know about you, but the “average” body doesn’t exist!! We all have different things that just don’t fit right in certain clothes. Whether it’s due to height, curves, or just poorly measured off the rack garments, you shouldn’t feel restricted in your wardrobe because something doesn’t fit quite right.

Buying a slightly bigger garment and getting it tailored to your figure and your liking is always an option! NO JOB IS TOO SMALL ♥️

Last Christmas I bought this beautiful, expensive dress for a staff night out and the front kept rolling up. I loved everything about the dress EXCEPT that one tiny detail. Every time I tried the dress on I was frustrated that it did not stay in place like it did in the photos on the website.

With just a few stitches to tack down that pesky panel that kept rolling up, my beautiful dress was PERFECT and I was able to go out, enjoy myself and not worry about constantly fixing my dress.

Sometimes all it takes is one tiny change to make an outfit exactly what it should be. No task is too small, here at Wonky Seams we understand how the small changes to our clothing make the BIG difference to our confidence when we wear them ♥️

As Olivia Dean says in this song, it’s so easy to fall in love when we free our minds from the burden of worrying if our clothes sit right …. Or something like that 👀😋😂
