Last week I spoke to a parent who started the call by saying:
"I don't even know where to start."

Their child wasn't sleeping. Everyone was exhausted and the whole house felt on edge.
They'd tried all the advice, followed all the accounts, downloaded all the guides, but nothing seemed to stick.

By the end of our conversation, they hadn't magically fixed everything, but they finally had something they'd been missing:
A plan!!

"Rainbows are proof that something beautiful can emerge from the storm."

Sometimes we just need to see that don't we. Seeing that light at the end of the tunnel. And I know it is hard to see that when you are in the thick of it.
But there is always a rainbow at the end.

Take that as you will today, whether it is in the context of sleep and not knowing what it on the other side of change.. or maybe you've just had one of those days!

What a rollercoaster week! 🫣 The good, not so good and the epic all rolled into one!

It has been all go with the kiddies, and my eldest had his first jiu-jitsu competition yesterday which he smashed! Followed by a sponsored cycle with Cubs tonight. I would say he puts my stamina to shame, but I know exactly where he gets it from 🤣

I have just finished my 6th assignment in my parenting coach pathway and studying is a daily thing right now and most evenings!

BUT I am still here supporting families along the way, and so many wins this week!
I spoke with a family today who are only 5 days into their plan, and they've already seen huge changes already! From cosleeping or on the bedroom floor most nights, to slowly building independence, not a tear. She is smashing it! ✅️

Spaces are limited over the next few weeks, and packages have changed for the summer for more focused and intensive weekly support to fully support you ❤️

If bedtimes are becoming difficult, nights are unsustainable and lack of sleep is taking it's toll on the whole family then you are in good hands.
Because it isn't just about the sleep, it is the mental capacity, the frustration, the full impact on the family.

If you're reading this after another long bedtime, another early wake-up, or another night of broken sleep, I want you to know something: It doesn't have to stay this way.

Many families I work with come to me feeling drained after trying everything, Google searching at 2am and with a hope that their child will "grow out of it" but time keeps going, and sleep gets harder.

Then it doesn't become just about the sleep. It becomes about the lack of energy, the lack of patience, feeling like we aren't showing up as the parent that we want to be (you are not alone in this feeling either!)

This Summer you'll find a change to my current packages, with more focused packages to get to exactly where the sleep challenges are coming from, and more intensive support with quick results.

There will always be add on support too, as that has always been my promise. I'll never leave a family feeling like you only got half way there, we will always make sure we get there. With some faith, trust and consistency in the process - you are in good hands to help you in supporting your child into fuller night's sleep.

A wee tip!
If you are finding bedtimes are feeling a bit later or a battle in the summer months .... Closing your blinds and curtains around the house an hour before bed helps signal to your little ones that it is time to sleep 🌙 and kick starts the melatonin production!
Give it a go this week and let me know if it helps!

It won't solve all challenges.. but if you can see they are still a bit wired then give it a go!
