Nothing makes me happier than your messages after a first game with your new racket.

So far every review has been five stars, and I’m exceptionally proud of that. When designing these rackets I wanted to make sure that although they are absolutely beautiful that they were not style over substance: choosing high quality carbon frames with 3K surface and making sure they were lighter at 350g to suit us better and partnering with a top manufacturer made sure this wasn’t the case. It was an absolute honour to be part of last night’s Women on Work event at Gleneagles Townhouse. One of my top top places to go. A big special thank you to Nicole Ballantine (Gordon) for having me 💛. Gleneagles really do get it right!

Such a special community of members, a room full of inspiring people and honestly the most beautiful setting.

We chatted about starting a product-based business from two very different stages. Laura Thomas Co has been going for over ten years, while I only hard launched Pounce in January. Sitting alongside Laura and Jules, who has just exited the business she co-founded, was truly an amazing moment!

My takeaways from the night:

- Work out the worst case. If it’s survivable, go for it
- Price for the business you want to become, especially if wholesale is in the plan, something I’ve learned later 🫣
- Take advice, but trust your gut. You know your brand best
- Be choosy about where people first meet your brand (thank you Laura for that one)
