I ❤️ macrame plant holders! 😂. So I tasked myself with making one using t-shirt yarn and a simple, easy to follow instructional video by and the Gang. Et voila!

Hello peeps! It's been well over a year since I lasted posted on this page! 🤦🏾‍♀️. Time flies when you are an NQT! So I will be keeping this page updated with my latest craft, diy and home projects. 😊.

Here my latest furniture acquisition, an Ercol Evergreen armchair. I picked it up for £50! Such a great bargain. I rewebbed it using a webbing kit from skiddawup and now in the process of making a new seat cushion cover. I will post the finish shortly.

Good morning peeps! The weekend has arrived. I'm excited as I have plans to craft and crochet. I will share the end result with you very soon.

In the meantime, here is my finished 'pebble' cushion. I used cotton DK yarn and I chose to freestyle it rather than use a pattern.

Ta-Dah! One cushion out of three complete. I used 'bean-bag beans' to fill the cushion, making it very comfy to use. I can't wait to complete the final two.

I had 2 hours all to myself this afternoon and what better way to spend the time than sewing! My machine is running like clockwork since it had a service. So I decided to make a cowl from this fab African print and lined it with winter-warming fleece. I'm super happy with how it's turned out.

I gave my crochet hooks a short break today and embarked on a mission to dress my landing window. Mission accomplished! I made this 'faux' Roman blind using a simple tutorial for a no sew-no drill 'faux' Roman blind. All that is needed is fabric, a tape measure, wunderweb, tension rods, an iron and ironing board. I'm super happy with the result!
