📢📢📢 September Fully Booked!📢📢📢

Hey everyone! Just a little post to say that September is now fully booked and I am now taking item on for October onwards, its been a very busy few weeks!

I have had a few issues with my shop phone and WhatsApp was not working but I have a new phone now and it should hopefully be working! If you have sent a message in the last few weeks please can you resend it just incase it has got lost in the change over 😊

📢 August Fully Booked! 📢

Its been a very busy few months and I'm now fully booked for August! I'll be here for the next two weeks and then taking a little break for a week to spend some time with the kids before they go back to school 💕

☀️☀️☀️Summer Closures☀️☀️☀️

With the summer holidays are fast approaching and I wanted to let you all know of some shop closures coming up. With moving house and the kids being off it will be a busy one this year!

My dairy for July is half full already so if you have some alterations needing done for your holidays please do pop in soon, as always thank you all so much for keeping me busy! 🪡🧵💕

What a few weeks its been! My dairy is now full for June and we are not even into June yet! There is currently a 4/5 week turnaround so please do keep that in mind when popping into the shop!

I am also moving house the first week in July so the shop will be closed Fri 3rd and Sat 4th 🏠🔑
With the summer holidays fast approaching I will be taking a week off in July and then again in Aug to spend some time with the kids but will pop a post up with dates very soon!

Just a little post to say that June is very much almost full so if you are needing any dresses altered for balls or proms now is the time to bring them down as I am struggling to fit people in!

Was so lovely to take a moment and think about everything I have achieved in my first year in buisness!
Thank you so much to every customer and to all my friends and family 💕🧵🪡

Last week marked a full year since Amy took over Sew for You from Trish, who had run the business in the town for 10 years 🖤

Over the past year, Amy has continued building on everything that made the shop such a valued part of the community, from everyday alterations to welcoming familiar faces through the door, while also finding new ways to help the business grow.

One of those new additions is Sew for Kids. With support from South of Scotland Enterprise, Amy has created a space for young people to learn how to sew, develop practical skills, and build confidence through making.

As part of our textile takeover, it is brilliant to see a long-standing local business continuing to evolve, while also helping inspire the next generation of textiles in Galashiels through those fundamental sewing skills.

🎉🥳 Happy 1 year in buisness 🥳🎉

So happy to celebrate the shop being open for a year this week! To celebrate I will be buying some cake from local buisnesses this week for my lovely customers to enjoy!

Today's birthday bake is some very yummy (and award winning!) brownies from Bulldog Bakes!

Thats not all to show my appreciation any items brought in for alterations this week will be given a wee 10% off discount so there's no better time to bring down your trousers, skirts or dresses!

What a busy few days!!! Thats the rail full for May! If you are needing any alterations booked in for June please do try to pop down to the shop asap to get booked in as May filled up so fast!
