✨YOUTH ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS!✨

Calling all budding stars! We're on the lookout for talented young performers to join the youth ensemble for our 2026 Pantomime of Wizard of Oz 🌟

📅 Audition Date: Sunday 12th July
📍 Venue: The Woodville, Gravesend

If your child dreams of treading the boards in front of thousands this Christmas, now’s their chance! 🎭👯‍

This year’s auditions will be led by the brilliant Kerry Turner, she will teach a short dance routine on the day so no need to prepare anything.

🎒 What to wear: Plain dancewear only please – no dance school logos or previous panto hoodies. We want everyone to shine equally ✨

I've had a flurry of messages lately asking if I run sewing/costume workshops, and whilst I don't yet offer standalone events I do collaborate with on these fun short courses 🤩 It's a bargain price with materials included and there are limited places guaranteeing a good learning and social environment. ✨ PROM SEASON✨
Just a reminder to my local customers who may have teenagers starting to plan their school prom outfits 🤩 I have kept my Spring diary as open as possible to allow for prom alterations, but slots get booked up quickly. Please spread the word as I had several customers last year who really struggled to find a seamstress available for alterations 😊

Today's workshop with was so much fun! Everyone had a go at making a cute garter 💖 then we rummaged through the mountains of feather/sequin/rhinestone trimmings and shared ideas to embellish the various different items brought in.. there were shoes, bras, hats, gloves: all sorts! 🤩 The upshot is that a regular Stitch 'n' Bitch session is absolutely necessary! DM myself or Charlotte at Sizzle & Sway to register your interest 😊
