This is Xu Chang. He temporarily lost his uncle (misplaced?) in the show, and needed a rest, so he joined me on my stand. We chatted pleasantly using translation apps, and then he demonstrated his traditional flute expertise! He also hung around and acted as my unofficial translator for a while, and it was a random but lovely interaction. A little human highlight from the show ☺️
